Vinolia Apakoh

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Vinolia Apakoh is the Founder and CEO of Blackcellence Network, a leading organization dedicated to uplifting, empowering, and celebrating the Black community in Saskatchewan. She has created a platform that honors Black excellence, amplifies underrepresented voices, and drives systemic change through recognition, cultural celebration, and strategic partnerships.

In 2022, Vinolia founded the Blackcellence Gala, an annual event celebrating the achievements of Black professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, and changemakers. She is also a seasoned Business Administrative Professional and the owner of Akwaaba Foods, a Regina-based business specializing in authentic Ghanaian cuisine, creating cultural connections through food.

Vinolia’s leadership has earned her the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal and the YWCA Regina Women of Distinction Award (2025) in the Community Champion category. As CEO, she brings vision, cultural insight, and a commitment to equity. Outside of work, she is a devoted wife, mother of three, and grandmother of two, and enjoys volunteering, traveling, and cooking.
